Welcome to the post about NOT going on a trip to Alberta. So about a month ago our whole class got to go on a huge road trip to Alberta and back. I saw some pictures, and then cried. THEY had a fun time. THEY ate at a billion restaurants. THEY went to crazy lakes. AEDAN sat at school and cried. I wasn’t all alone though because I had some ally’s. Alex and Anika followed me on my adventure of depression and loneliness. I’m just kidding it wasn’t that bad. The rest of this post will be about some of the projects we had to do.

A GHOST TOWN WITHOUT GHOSTS |

On the first day of the trip everyone else got to visit a really cool ghost town and make a video there. It had to be a silent film with no talking or sound effects, only old time music. We also had to put a filter on it and speed it up a bit to get the old look. For us, we had the exact same task, just in a different location. Our school. This was one of my favourite videos to make because there was lots of action involved. We did a cop vs robber chase around the school. I was the robber, Anika was the cop, and Alex was the filmer / editor. I think the video turned out pretty good. If I was to redo it I would make the ending better by adding a few more parts to the escape. Anyways, here’s our video:

THE SEYCOVE IDENTITY |

For this we made a short film about the seycove identity. It was a pretty simple video, but I thought it turned out great and went together nicely. I learnt that talking in front of a camera is not my thing and I will hopefully get better at that in the future. Anyways, here’s our amazing seycove identity film:

INANIMATE OBJECTS |

This was a fun one to make. It sort of came up after the trip when everyone was still working on their individual identity videos. We were all done or mostly done ours so we got given another short video to do. This video was the substitute of a video they made in Enchanted Forest. This video was very open, we just had to come up with a crazy story about an inanimate object and film it. The inanimate object also had to talk in the video. I enjoyed making this video, but I was running out of time so rushed the ending and now it’s rated R. You can tell the end was rushed and I wish I had taken some more time. Anyways, here’s my inanimate object video:

THE GREAT CANADIAN IDENTITY |

This whole video is explained in its own blog post. I’d love if you went and checked it out. This was the hardest one to make and I think it’s my best one by far. I worked really hard on this one. Here it is:

So ya. We made lots of videos here well everyone else made lots of videos there. Hope you enjoyed these videos and this blog post. Thanks so much for reading!

Until next time… Aedan Loughran
