For Take Your Kid To Work Day my dad took to me his work so I could begin to learn about working a job, and what it might be like if I took the same job. For context my dad works at Seaspan, a dry dock company. They mostly build, repair, and dock ships. Ive been to Seaspan a few times so the place isn’t completely new.
I had a couple of expectations on what I was going to see. I expected to see a couple of different jobs (painters, managers etc), learn about different jobs and how they are significant.
As you can see with the video those expectations were met. However I don’t think id like to have the same job as my dad, theres not enough creation involved for me.
Thank you Seaspan for giving me such a great time, I hope I can do this again
