Setting goals in life is very important because then you have something to work toward. Do you set goals for yourself? What are your goals for the next week? month? How about 3 years? from now? 5 years? 10 years?
For the next part of the year my goal is to be able to ask a deep question that can lead to further discussion, because in Flight we are always asking questions. At this point we have not really learned how to ask a deep question and the components to doing so. Also I would like to ask more question in class to fully understand the subject because then when I am doing a work sheet, I don’t have to go back in the text book to try to find the info, I will just know it. This will also be very helpful on tests or quizzes, which will result in me doing better on the text/quiz which will lead to me getting a better grade in Humanities.
My goal for science in term 2 is to get my grade higher and also to put more effort into my work and instead of just doing a small project and moving on I am going to try to get a deeper understanding of the subject.
For the rest of the year I want to set a goal for myself to try too finish all my work on time and hand it in proud of what I did. I would like to try to put more effort into all my school work and also want to be more organized by writing down the homework I have and keeping my locker neat.
Goal setting is the first step toward successful goal achievement. It marks your first point toward success. It is what puts your life into real action mode. Without this step, the other steps of goal achievement could take place.
