So far this year I don’t think that I have really pushed my self to my very best. Before repost cards come out and you get an assignment and you don’t think it matters too much and you don’t do a very good job on that one assignment, then when you get your report card you wish you worked hared on that one because you are on the edge of failing and and passing. Every assignment matters and I think that I forget that a lot, and need to put in the time and effort that I need to get a good grade.
When I am working on a project or big assignment I tend to procrastinate till a day or two till its due, which isn’t very smart, but its hard when you have other stuff going like sports. When I am inclined in a subject I tend to get my work done a lot faster and it comes out in better quality.
I have a lot of challenges as a learner because I learn slower then a lot of people it takes me while to fully understand what I have to do to fulfill the criteria. Sometimes I have a hard time reading I usually loose my spot and struggle to focus on one word, usually when I have to read in front of the class. Also when I am presenting in front of the class I get really nervous, but if we are all sitting and chatting I am not nervous at all. On the other hand I have strengthens too. When I am interested in a subject I work really fast and put a lot of effort. I work well in groups with people actually work and also by my self depending on what the assignment is.
So far this year I think that I have improved on a lot of things. I have defiantly improved my writing skills over this first term, at the beginning of this year I had never really learned about essays or know what they were. Also when we wrote the Frankenstuffie creative writing, I improved making my writing into a story and forming a beginning, middle, and end.
