Laurier And The Golden Years

Wow I really need to get on handing things in on time… Well anyways welcome to my blog post about Wilfred Laurier and the Golden Years! In flight class right now we are learning about the World Wars. Our teacher asked us to come up with an inquiry question about something that we are interested in that happened before WWI and make a blog post about it so here we are. At the beginning I was thinking of doing something else other then a boring explain everything, so I was going to do a “draw my life” kind of idea, but when I started I learned that I absolutely am terrible and drawings so I gave up and resorted back to explain everything’s!

At the beginning I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to do for my topic, I didn’t have any ideas pop into my head right away. Then when I was reading over my notes I can across the Laurier Years, and formed my question around that. My inquiry question is… How did it become that the Laurier Years were also called the “Golden Years” however not golden for all?

Brief intro to my topic so you can better understand my video… So think way back before WWI to 1896. Wilfred Laurier was elected as prime minster. He was in office till 1911. He didn’t a lot of great things in his time and ruled like no one else had before. He used the compromise to solve issues, and it worked in many cases but never pleased everyone… That is all I can stay with out giving away my whole video, but if you would like to learn more about this leader his special ways please watch my video below.
