For this task I used emoji prompts to write a story.
The Mysterious Ghost Penguin
โThis is the most snow weโve had all week Jeffโ, said Fred as he looked out the window of their small station. Jeff and Fred were the only ones at the Antarctic penguin research station that night. It was very quiet, almost too quiet but it made sense given that they were the only ones there. Jeff was editing photos that he had taken of the penguins just two hours ago when it wasnโt snowing nearly as hard. Fred opened his mouth to say something else but before he could speak the room went dark. A power outage? No thatโs impossible, the station is run by a generator.ย The only way the power could go out was if someone turned it off. No thatโs also impossible. Fred and Jeff were the only ones there, unless? Jeff called for Fred. Fred called for Jeff. In the darkness they found each other and carefully went to investigate. They headed to the generator room and saw nothing. That is until they looked down. A penguin? Yes, they both saw the small flightless bird looking up at them. The thing is, it was pitch black. How could they see it. Well it was glowing. It was no ordinary penguin. It was a ghost penguin. The semi transparent creature looked back at the guys. Then a horrifying human like grin appeared on his face. This was no nice ghost penguin…………
