It was 5 am, and we all got in the bus, and we drove drove drove away.
We drove to the border, we walked in and gave them our passports for them to check, and we all got back in the bus, to drive to our first stop, Cabelas.
At Cabelas, we had about an hour to look around and buy things, I got a firestarter, and a commando saw. We also ate lunch there, I got a buffalo burger and fries, but some of the other options were elk, beef, and other burgers.
Then we went on with our trip. One of the highlights of the trip was the Astoria Column. A large tower with historical events painted on it, that you could go into and walk up the spiral staircase to the top were you had some amazing views and photo opportunities. One of the things we had to do on our trip, was to fill out a book, on our iPads in an app called Book Creator. It was kinda like a journal, and it documents in detail, what we learned at every stop. If you want to read it click here.
Another highlight of the trip was… highlife. Highlife Adventure Park. Where we did zip lining, and boy, was it fun! Here’s a video made by PLP of all of us ziplining!
The last highlight for me, was the monolith. A monolith a basically, one really big, solitary rock. We went to Haystack Rock, the third largest monolith in the world.
