Destination Procrastination

A blog for kids who can’t read good and wanna learn to do other stuff good too

Launch

Hi again this is going to be a short blog post so let’s get in to it.

We were introduced to a project planner that is student friendly and can be used for any project in school or work. It is called the Launch Cycle and each letter stands for something.

1. Look, listen, and learn

2. Ask questions

3. Understanding the process and problem

4. Navigation ideas

5. Create a prototype

6. Highlight and fix

Then in the Launch phase you put your project in to the real world. At the bottom of the post, I have included the booklet that we used if you are interested in trying it out on your next project. https://www.icloud.com/keynote/0mIsNj0yZKv54mBL3TRX_MUig#Launch

So to test this project planner, we had a challenge that we had to do. We had to make a sport using 2 rackets, 1 piece of string, tape, balloons, and cups.

Our group (http://www.blog44.ca/lucianos/, http://www.blog44.ca/anikah/) made a sport a lot like hand ball. There were cups stacked on either end of a space and the goal was to throw the ball at the cups and knock them over. But I think this video we made explains it better: How to play

Here is a video of our class playing the sport we made: Us playing are game

Thanks for reading! We had to make this a short post so sorry about that, but it’s ok – I will probably have another one in a week anyway.
