World War I

In World War One there was over 65 million men fought each one with there own story. But we don’t get t9 here them that much. So as one of projects we did. Using www.veterans.gc.ca we each found a soldier to look in to I ended up looking in to a man named hart leech. With the information I made a podcast.

podcast

Before we learned but ha how the war began. Which we made a video on.

To get to this point it took a bit of work. It took a bit of work to get to so lets look at the steps that i took to get here.

The first step was to find a soldier to make the podcast on we used the site:veteran.gc we found the soldiers to make the podcast on it was hard to find a soldier that had a soldier with a good soldier. To find one I did some external research are checked the soldier for soldiers with letters that we still note down to this day. I was able to find a CBC article with a few letters from different soldiers from world war 1 and checking back on the veteran.gc site I decided on the man that i was going to make a podcast on.

After this the research and righting fases took the longest I went through 6 scripts and many sites to find the information needed to make the podcast to find the stuff for this podcast I couldn’t look just at hart leech I had to use stuff like what groups he fought with to find out when he fought and in what battles.

After this it was time to record to do this I used a snow ball microphone and recorded at my house it took several hours to record than edit and create music but after I was done I got my podcast done.

Overall this project challenged a few skills like researching, reading, writing, and creating music, if I where to do this again I would have not have even though about the script till I was complete done my research because when I did the script I try to do some more research and it change how the podcast would go. With more podcast coming up im going to use the lessons learned from this one and put it in to other ones.
