Brown V. Board of education

The case of Brown v. the board of education was a supreme court cases that signified a turning point in the civil rights.This case dictated that the segregation in the public school system was separate but unequal. This verdict was decided with (9-0) vote and help overturn the laws allow states to make the schools segregate. After a second look at the way in which it effected the system it was finally outlawed.
