Emmett Till’s murder

Emmett Till was Murdered on August 28 of 1955. He was fourteen and on a trip to visit his relatives in Money, Mississippi. Outside of a grocery store, He had an interaction with Carolyn Bryant the exact details of this interaction is unknown but the most common interpretation is that Emmett whistle at the white women. Later her husband Roy Bryant and his half brother J. W. Milam to the boy from his home and Beat then murdered the child. After his mother decided to have a open casket funeral the world got in out rage at the brutal events. Roy and his brother would acquitted of the crimes after going in front of a all white jury. they would later admit to the crimes but not be punished. These event created tunes of press attention from all over america.
