I started the school year by forgiving all the “lost” books on student records.  A fresh start for everyone!

If a student looses a book, they will be asked to purchase a new book for the library and bring it in. The book they bring should be:

• NEW
• Of equal value to the book they lost – please keep in mind that some library books are *very* expensive because they have library bindings. (purchased for high turnover books)  If a student loses one of these books, we may ask you to pay for the book so that I can replace it with another library bound book.
• At the same reading level as the book they lost and on the same topic.

I will then remove the lost book from our inventory and clear the student record.
