I ❤️ Captain Picard

The three greatest days of my life are:

• the day I was born
• the day I graduated from SFU
• the day I met Captain Picard

He is not the tallest man on TV. He is not the strongest. And he is not the fastest, the handsomest or the richest. But he is the thinking person’s superhero.

What’s so great about Captain Picard? I’m so glad you asked!

• He has a brain and a soul: he quotes Shakespeare, loves history, and respects all sentient humanoid lifeforms.
• He solves problems with the aforementioned brain. While there are always phasers and torpedoes for those really sticky situations against nasty enemies, Captain Picard would rather use his intelligence to solve problems and end standoffs.
