If everyone on earth disposed of one piece of garbage every 24 hours, that’s 7.53 billion pieces of trash going into the landfills every day. If only this were the case, as the average American generates a staggering 4.3 pounds of trash DAILY.
This amount of pollution not only damages the environment, but harms us as well. People exposed to air, water, and other forms of pollution are much more likely to develop conditions such as asthma, cancer, and heart problems. Now it’s easy to talk about an issue like this, but what about actually doing something about it? Introducing:

The word of the year nominated by Collins Dictionary is Single-Use, which means an item that is designed to only be used once. The key word in that sentences is “designed”, because these items can have a much longer shelflife with some creative thinking.

Hello.
I really enjoyed reading your blog post. We are big believers in recycling. One of my hobbies is junk journaling. It is recycling junk mail to create an art journal. It is fun to see what can be created from paper.
One of my favorite recycle projects is a story about “Real Life Lego Houses Are Built From Bricks Made Of Recycled Plastic”. If you look up that story you’ll see a group of people turn trash into giant Lego blocks that can be used to build homes. That is exciting.
