Hello!
It’s been a while since I’ve written on this blog. I’m working on a completely unrelated post at the moment, but I felt the need to address the changes that will be happening. And also apologize for the entirety of the last term.
I think this will be a bit of a shorter post, but you never know. I could end up my longest one yet. I probably should structure my posts better. Oh well.
Anyways. I would say that my blog has been relatively active in the year that I’ve had it. Every time I finished a project I would write a very excessively long post about it and publish it here. But in the last term, ever since we started to do school online in light of the current situation, I kind malfunctioned and stopped posting. Sorry about that.
I usually try to keep things light on here, but just to be real, I honestly got pretty depressed in quarantine. I know it’s been hitting everyone’s mental health hard. It also didn’t help that I moved, so my parent were quite stressed the whole time, which contributed to my anxiety. I had a lot of trouble concentrating on just about anything and a lot of assignments didn’t get handed in.
I am feeling considerably better now that we’ve moved houses, school is over, and I am able to go outside more now that quarantaine is easing off a little (at least where I live). My mental health has improved drastically and I am going into next year prepared.
To lighten the mood, here is a lovely picture of my dog, Barley. He got a haircut recently and he looks super cute.
Speaking of next year, (nice little bridge there, totally didn’t plan that) I am changing schools, along with my friend Kate! This means that I probably won’t be posting as regularly (but you’re already used to that now) since I won’t have PLP projects to write about or whatever. I will still post on here, though, since my PLP teachers have graciously allowed me to keep my blog. Yippee!
I wrote more in-depth about my reasons for changing schools in my SBC post about schools, so I’m not going to go into too much detail on that yet, but I am quite excited to see my old friends again and to speak French regularly. It’ll be fun! I hope. I’m kind of nervous still.
It’ll be fine, Evelyn. It’ll be fine.
Hey, I actually made a relatively short post! Go me! Only 460 words!
I hope you enjoyed this random little post! Sorry it got a little heavy. Anyways.
Have a great day! Stay safe and healthy!
Cheers,
Evelyn 👩🏽

Hi Julia! Thanks for commenting!
I honestly didn’t expect anyone to still be subscribed to this blog after SBC was over. Everyone else is my grandma, my mum and dad, my friend Kate, and my cousin. Thank you for still being here!
I think the reason you can’t sign in is that this blog is on the blog44.ca website, which is my school district website. It’s still technically part of edublogs.org, but it makes it so that you can’t sign in here. Sorry. I still know who you are, though! Plus you get a fun monster profile picture!
I’m glad you enjoyed my post! Barley is a lot happier with his haircut. He used to be super fluffy, which was cute, but it got in his way and was pretty hot. I think he likes it better short.
I will go back to your blog and see what I’ve missed! Is there a way for me to subscribe so I know when you post? That would be cool.
Anyways, thanks again for commenting! Stay safe!

Hi Evelyn!
I still have most of the blog URL’s from the bloggers challenge… I thought it would be fun to see what would be posted after the challenge!
Oh now I get it why I can’t sign in! That makes sense. The monster picture is cool… I think?
unfortunately, I don’t think there’s a way to subscribe to my blog. But I post at least once a week!
Thanks for checking it out anyway!

Hello!
That’s cool that you are still reading everyone’s blog from the blogging challenge. What a fun idea!
Even though there’s no way to subscribe, I look forward to looking through your blog and seeing what I’ve missed! You write well.
Have a nice day!
