This is the over all Compalation of my Oregon trip!
Hi there guys! My name is Felix and welcome back to my blog. Today ill tell you guys about my Oregon trip. So i hope you guys enjoy.
We start off with a very long bus ride across the boarder to our first destination, Panera Bread. After our little breakfast stop were back on the road. Then after lunch and another stop we arrive at our first big monument, the Astoria column.
The Astoria column stands 125 feet tall and is covered in this art called scrafito. Even though the art has been redone because of weathering and just being old, it still looks very good. The art tells the tale of the first explorers to come to the Columbia river, and if your lucky you can fly a plane off the to of towers.
Soon it was time to go and this time we needed to travel to our KOA. We thought the Astoria column was our last stop… we were wrong. After missing the KOA I was kind of nervous. That was until we pulled up in a sandy parking lot next to a beach. Since I’m a buckle head and forgot to check our itinerary I didn’t know that we were at the Peter Iredale ship wreak. Now even though this is a husk of a ship, with the sunset everything was photogenic.
This is me in the ship with the sunset.
P.S I’m never photogenic.

Now we actually do head to our campsite and take our first sleep in America.
The next day is one of my favourites! After stoping off at Fort Stevens State Park, we go to the best place on the trip. Highlife Adventures. This is by far the best zip lining park I have ever been to. It takes place in a forest across, streams, ponds, and lakes. The best part by far is when we go on a low rope across the lake/lagoon. The instructors give you a choice (Before you go over the lake) if you want to, dip, skim, or soak… I chose soak. This was the only reasonable choice as you can see. Soon after while I soaking wet and moderately cold my friends came across with the soak option as well. They how ever being together got stuck in the middle. While the instructor went to go get them, the added wait from him made them sink even more. When he finally gets to them they’re chest deep in water and freezing. That was by far the BEST activity in the trip. Click HERE to see the website
After some more cool places, Hatfield Marine Science Center, Cobble Beach, Columbia River Maritime Museum, etc. Now lets get to the food. Some of it i thought I would never eat. My favourite place being John’s Incredible Pizza Company. This is a better version of castle fun park (Canadian Version). This is,”gambling for children”. Thomas Wisdom/2018/??/??. The grand scheme is, its a buffet and a arcade. Games for all ages, and some rides. It was actually amazing, although very addicting. Click HERE for their website.
Now finally the food. There were definitely some places I thought that I wouldn’t eat at, Nisa’s tai food, DQ, Panera Bread, etc but everything was great. Ill start off with Nisa’s tai food. I HATE tai food, and I never eat it. Though it was pretty good. I liked the good food that they gave us, and even though I was sitting next to a rice-aholic I loved it all. My next favourite restaurant was, Izzy’s Pizza and Buffet. That was are first buffet and also my favourite. I actually haven’t been that pleased with buffet food in a while. So over all, the trip was AMAZING! Food was great, activities were fun, and all the sights were beautiful.
