For this week eight challenge we had to focus on celebrations. I am an atheist so there will not be any religious holidays (except Christmas — but just the commercial and social parts). Here are all of the celebrations that I take part in, from least celebrated to most.

#4 Thanksgiving. This is our least celebrated tradition. We have our regular Thanksgiving dinner and hang out with our family. That is why Thanksgiving is a great time, and it isn’t a big deal.

#3: Halloween. We probably celebrate this as much as the average person. We put up decorations, give out candy, and I normally dress up. Though we have neighbourhood partys, and my parents normally go all out at the costume partys.

#2: Birthdays. We normally do something significant for my birthday, like travel or have a party with friends. My mom often makes shirts for my birthday that the whole group wears. This experience is in place of a normal birthday party or gifts.

#1 Christmas. I LOVE Christmas because of my greediness and because I get to spend time with my family. This is a special occasion because we celebrate our Christmases at a place called Cultus Lake where 20 of our friends also have houses. We pack the family into our house so all of us can celebrate Christmas together.

Here is picture of one of our new Christmas ornaments. I also modelled a real ugly Christmas sweater, it was very fine work:

By this time I would have done a Christmas remodel on my blog home page. I hope you guys enjoy.
