For our first exhibition we had to come up whith an inquiry question about Star Wars.
My question was:
Once we had our questions we had to do a project on them. For the project we had to do lots of research. For our research we had to interview someone that was an expert on the topic. I interviewed Rafael Santa Ana an architect that I had done work with in the past from rsaaw , that was a great experience.
For my project I chose three buildings from Star Wars; The Royal Palace Of Theed, The Jedi Temple and Cloud City. Then I chose a few buildings from earth to compare to the Star Wars buildings for the reason they were built, who built them or for the style of architecture.
This is what my project looked like:
I also had this time lapse by my project of me drawing the drawings
After a lot of research and hard work we had to exhibit our projects at the PLP winter exhibition. For the exhibition we had to where costumes I was going to dress up as Obi-Wan Kenobi but we couldn’t find a cloak anywhere on such short notice so my grandma made me one the night before the exhibition. We also had to decorate the room.
The day after the exhibition we went to see the new Star Wars movie.
Good Post…
Haven’t seen the new Star Wars movie but must watch it. Grandpa Mel is working on a telescope project right now. I hear him talking about working at sea level and working at 14,000 feet and all the differences and problems that creates..so can only imagine what a different planet would involve. Loved your time lapse drawing.
Great work Fraser. Keep it up.
