For our most recent unit in humanities is about Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Our big project is going to be to individually create a parody for a scene each. This time we are going to be doing a post every week called a TWIL (This Week I Learned). Each post will expand on something specific we learned about in the week.
This week one of the activities we did in class was an Anticipation Guide. This was and activity that we did before start Romeo and Juliet. First we individually put down what we thought then as a group we debated our answers.
I chose to expand on “Citizens should not always obey the rules of government.” I put agree for this not because I think we should be running around in complete anarchy and not follow any of the rules. I think we should follow our governments rules but sometimes governments have rules that are wrong and they need to change. Sometimes you need to break some rules to bring change. If we didn’t break the rules the world would look very different that it does now.
These are just a few examples of people breaking the rules to help bring change for the better.
