🐸 Emoji Story

In this post of the Student Blogging Challenge, we got to use a random emoji generator. We then got to take the emojis and make a story. Since we have been learning about the Story Mountain and the Story Spine, I decide to try and apply it to this emoji story.

Here are the emojis the generator gave me: 🚥 🐸🍯😃🎧😿

Here is the story I made:

Once upon a time… 🚥

There was a popular traffic light in Washington D.C. He loved to look over the city and keep the traffic running smoothly.

Everyday… 🐸

He watched a shiny limousine drive by with a frog in it, who waved at him. The frog he learned, from observing the posters on the nearby theatre, that the frog’s name was Kermit.

One day… 🍯

It began to rain honey! The poor traffic light was coated so thickly in the sticky honey that no one could see his lights. Traffic was clogging up dangerously. He had to to act quickly! He saw his froggy friend swerving dangerously towards another car. He tried hard to melt the honey off his lights by heating up the lamp.

Because of that… 😃

He was able to shine his light brightly across the intersection and alert the chauffeur driving Kermit at the last second. Kermit looked up and smiled thankfully at the traffic light. But he covered his ears and winced and moment later as a symphony of car horns from angered drivers began.

Because of that… 🎧

Kermit looked away and put on his headphones and began listing to his favourite music. Then he looked up and thought “I bet that friendly traffic light would like some music.” So he had his chauffeur pull over. Then he climbed up the pole and secured his headphones on the traffic light’s mechanical ears.

Ever since then… 😿

Kermit and the traffic light were great friends. But a small kitten who watched them trough high rise window was sad that he did not have a friend. But the traffic light noticed him, and invited him to come join them. The cat agreed, and ceased his crying. The all lived happily ever after! THE END!

I hope you enjoyed my story! I had a lot of fun making it, and it was fun to see what my mind came up with! I encourage you to try making up a story with either the emojis the generator gave me (🚥 🐸🍯😃🎧😿), or generate some of your own and leave your story as a comment below! I can wait to see what you come up with!
