Our thanks to Carisbrooke Elementary for hosting our second DC get together this school year. Participating schools were able to share their progress in Waste Avoidance at their schools, delve deeply into the life cycle of disposable beverage containers and look forward to sharing their projects at our annual Green Fair April 17, 2012. It was great to see the elementary and high school students, teachers and support staff and parents all working together!

“The ultimate test of man’s conscience may be his willingness to sacrifice something today for future generations whose words of thanks will not be heard.”

-Gaylord Nelson former governor of Wisconsin, co-founder of Earth Day
