Yet another blogging challenge post…

So it turns out the blogging challenge has yet to fully conclude so Mrs.Maxwell  has assigned us yet another thing to “blog” about…

Holidays and celebrations.

Since the closest holiday from today that I would think is more celebratory then st.Patrick’s day 🍀is Easter and Easter Monday.🐰🌸🐣

There are a lot of meaning behind Easter that related to Christianity and Jesus but that would be a whole other blog post, but it short summery Easter without the chocolate and Easter bunnies is the day Jesus was  resurrected

But I really only like easter for the fun easter egg hunts and egg decorating. But it is still very important to recognize the true meaning behind Easter

So now for “tutorial time” on how to dye (real, hard boiled or hollowed) easter eggs fun colours.

This is a traditional thing me and my family does every year fro easter, we normally hard boil them so we can later on peel of the pretty coloured shell and eat the egg inside for lunch or put it in a salad

So first off choose your egg “form” (wether you want the hard boil them or hollow them out, get that done first)

Next what you’ll need…

You’ll need some, eggs (obviously), some white vinegar, food colouring (liquid is recommended), a spoon, or egg lowering device, a cup/glass, a measured cup and a white crayon (opinion also)

Step 1.

Mix 1 teaspoon vinegar with, around a 1/2 cup water and a generous amount of food colouring (10 to 20 drops)  into your cup/glass and stir until fully combine

Step 2.

Before you fully submerge your egg in coloured vinegar water (if you want) you can draw a fun design on you egg white white crayon (you could draw lines across or a bunny etc.). Then the colour wouldn’t go on the places you have crayon.

Step 3.

then fully submerged your egg (hard boiled or hollowed) in the coloured vinegar water and left it soak for about 5 minutes. Remember the longer you leave your egg in the strange liquid rather stronger the colour will show up in your egg.

and after that your more less done.

If you want you could dunk it in another colour go ahead

than go hide them or put them on a easter wreath for decoration, the possibilities are end less

also don’t forget the chocolate
