Science + animation = a long time 🕰

Welcome back again to yet another blog post!

(I feel like I’ve written at least 5 blog posts in the past week or something)

So this one isn’t about MPOLS, humanities or maker. But about scimatics ! (Science stuff to be spastic)

This scimatics project started like any other… with a mind map!

Same as always; with the questions on one side and already known knowledge on the other side

Throughout this project we completed many many pages of science workbook pages

In between all do those workbook pages we did lots.

One of our first major milestones was to great a Lab animation about the lad we would be doing the next day to present our understanding for the appropriate safety measures that can be taken and the “order of operations” (instructions)

We did this small little animation to get a better sense of our animation platform and to get a more in-depth introduction on the project

Next we got to create an atom not physically but on this fancy website and we got a better sense of electrons, neutrons and protons

Next is where we get into the BIG STUFF!

We stared off with a wonderful storyboard and got an idea of what elements we were gonna use or our ionic & covalent bonds

Then came the creation !!

Took me a while, had to animate everything (both covenant and ionic) and then import it into iMovie and then add a voiceover/narration

Then of course final end feedback!

And then of course the blog post (what you are reading right now )

Thank you for taking the time to read this, whatever it is 🕺🤷‍♀️
