This weeks reflection (#7)

         Blueprint Final Draft
This week has gone a little better than last. We have a clear blueprint of what we are trying to accomplish, and there is better communication in our group.

We have managed to complete the main base of the machine as well as attach the guillotine, the Estates general building and the constitution.

This week we managed to accomplish a lot more than the last by working together as a group. Nolan, and I continued to work on the design and construction of the machine, Tylo and Harry the blueprint, and Kirby and Brianna worked on the small details like the clay figures and the overall aesthetics of the project. Teva worked mostly on our circuit which is a French flag lit up in LEDs.

Moving forward I think our group could improve on the aesthetics. Brianna and Kirby are doing well at their job, but Nolan and I need to pay more attention to how the wood is nailed together and such. Because while your making the machine it looks fine, because we see it as good enough because it didn’t fall over, but right now as soon as you step back and look at our machine as a whole you don’t really know what you’re looking at.

We plan to fix this problem by spray painting the base parts black then add detailed colours onto the important parts that need emphasis. Of course we will need to come up with a metaphor in order to paint the entire thing black, but so far we can’t really think of a major thing that was constant throughout the French Revolution.
