Humanities Artifacts and Reflection

In humanities this term, I did many good works. I was especially proud of my work on my Frankenstuffie project which was a project my whole class did where we created a Frankenstuffie by melding at least three different stuffies together and then we wrote a creation story, and then made a video about the story. I was especially proud of the writing part of it.
In this project I had an idea of what I wanted to do with the creation of my Frankenstuffie and then went through 4 drafts of revision and outside editing to get a final project that I was proud of. In this project I really learned how to draft, and turn constructive criticism and turning that into a positive improvement in my writing skills and the final product of this project.
In humanities this term I feel I was fairly strong in reading and writing but I didn’t do as well on tests because of my aforementioned study habits that didn’t come through when I needed them and I got distracted, also on the book studies I didn’t enjoy the books so I didn’t do as well on that because my interest level was way down.
This term I worked well in teams and felt like I took some charge and responsibility but I think I should take on more responsibility to be really successful. My organizational skills in humanities were lacking and that is another thing to work on is to be more organized.
My participation in class is above average in my opinion, because I am always ready to jump into the discussion and contribute. My goals for the rest of the year is to get interested and invested in every project I work on because if I achieve that goal I will do a lot better in humanities. Here is my crown jewel of term 1 humanities. http://www.blog44.ca/joelh/?p=30
