Cray cray yay yay project

imageGreetings! Today I’m going to talk to you guys about a cray cray yay yay project I did with two other members of my class. Our cray cray yay yay project was on the woodland park zoo in Seattle. Our mission: to find out how it is sustainable and then make a documentary about it.

Obviously, We needed to go to the actual woodland park zoo to get all the footage We needed and interveiw the staff that worked there and let me tell you, it wasn’t easy. Sure it was just fine getting the footage of animals and such, but finding someone to interveiw? image

It was no cakewalk. This was mostly because not many people actually knew about the sustainability programs because most of the people there were volunteers or people who worked in different areas that weren’t in contact with the sustainability programs. after almost and hour of searching though, we found some one. I think that if I had to do it again, I would phone ahead of time and schedule interviews. Because it would have made it a much smoother ride.

Anyway, since we did all. that running around looking for people to interveiw, we weren’t able to get some of the footage we needed and had to substitute and improvise – A LOT. Once we got all the footage together and organized, it went pretty smoothly and we got our project done without anymore draw backs.

to be honest, I’m really proud of our project.and I hope you like it to!
