Thank you for your comment. As for my conclusion, at the time I was referencing the fact that BC teachers were on strike and many collaborative initiatives were put on hold. At the same time, that experience gave an opportunity to rethink some of our current practices such as parent teacher interviews. A quote from Seth Godin’ book Linchpin comes to mind – “You can either fit in or stand out. Not both. You are either defending the status quo or challenging it.”
