It’s time for week three of the Student Blogging Challenge, which is all about copyright-free images! I chose to write a poem about a non-copyright image I found online. I used Pixabay to find my image.
The waves roll and crash,
In the sky, an orange sash
brings in the night,
and swallows the light.
The seagulls chirp and squawk,
Down below, people walk,
Hand in hand,
Along the sand.
The water moves the shell,
And the creatures it once held,
Have seen the light of day,
and are in the ocean to stay.
Thanks for reading my blog post!
Hey Lucy,
I love your poem. Very creative. I like the AB rhyme scheme. I’ve never used Pixabay to find Creative Commons images. Was it easy to use? Keep up the good work for the rest of the challenge.
Best wishes,
Mrs. Cremeens
