So, they’re back. Student led conferences. As a way to end off the year, we are back to doing SLCs to look back on the year. It’s also a nice way to look back onto 8th grade, going into 9th. This time, we have a couple questions to go along with the SLC that are going to be answered in due time… In due time…

 

1: Best evidence of learning/work this year

I would say that I am very proud of my religious worldview Explain Evrything. I feel like I put extra effort in this piece of work to make it look good and just produce a quality video that people can enjoy. I tried to contribute to my team in any way that I could, and I think that our EEs turned out pretty well.

2: Best evidence of learning/work that could have been improved

Transitioning into work that I’m not very happy with, I think that our most recent science project about “Raven Brings the Light” was definitely something that could have been improved. I didn’t put as much time into it as I would have liked to. I instead focused more on other projects. I regret that though because I think that it could have turned out pretty good if I just put more time into the project.

3: Reflection on the year

I had a few goals going through this year. I remember wanting straight A’s and getting on the honour roll. Academic stuff like that. I also wanted to get over my challenge of public speaking. I feel like I’m more comfortable with that and that I can talk in front of an audience a little bit easier now.

This year has really gone by fast. I remember going to Oregon like it was only a week ago. Now that my first year of highschool is done, I’m going to kick my feet up this summer and enjoy some summer activities. Finally…
