2 for 1 special? What could that mean? Maybe there’s a deal at Walmart!

Actually, no. What I’m talking about when I say “2 for 1” is that we created two separate projects that ended up merging into one big project. The project is the class IBook.

We started getting into the IBook by learning about worldviews which I talked a little bit about in my other blog post about religions and worldviews.

There are a lot of religions crammed into Vancouver…

We created some Explain Everything videos based on worldview. We made one about our own worldviews and we made two for religious worldviews. My group picked out Buddhism and Jainism.

We started off by doing a lot of research and figuring out how people who follow the two religions we picked see the world.

I have a bit of a connection with Buddhism since my dad follows it, so it was interesting to see what made him so interested in the practices of the religion.

After I made my first draft, I was given useful criticism for my Explain Everything and fixed my mistakes, even though the final version isn’t mistake free. Since my first and last draft aren’t much different, I’ll show my final version.

As for the IBook, we all had different jobs to do so we could create the iBook. I was in the group that created the music for everything in the iBook. We took information from how people wanted songs to sound and we made them.

The IBook had everyone’s religious Explain Everythings, widgets, and more!

I definitely enjoyed taking part in this project.
