Our metaphor machine is going great! Our group has been doing a lot of work this week and have started work on the machine. We have started working on the pulley, which will be the biggest struggle. We have been experimenting a lot with how it will work, and how it will carry the marble up. Here is a video showing how it works so far.

We still have a lot of work to do including building the scale and putting the backboard together. We have made the wood blocks for the marble to roll down and we have got the dominos ready. I believe we won’t have much trouble finishing this machine by the due date, and I think it will be very interesting to see how it works.
