In this weeks TWIL journal I wrote a newspaper article about Mercutio and Tybalt’s deaths. Here it is.

This article was not very hard to create because I used the Romeo and Juliet app for the information. First I read the entire Act 3 Scene 1, and then I started to write my story. I chose not to write my article in old English because it would make more sense to most people today. Writing this article was actually pretty fun, and not as hard as I expected. I didn’t run into any troubles while creating this article unlike other journals in the past.

I had to sign up for a website called arthr.newspaperclub.com to help me create this article. This website allows you to create headings, titles, add pictures, and much more. When I was done writing the article, I found out that there were only two options to save it: either I had to print it or I had to publish it. Instead of doing either of those I screenshot the article. Next I went on to a photo editing app, and I got rid of everything on the page that should not be there by colouring it white. Here is how the original screenshot looked.

In conclusion I think that choosing to write a newspaper article was the best idea for me because the other two TWIL topics did not interest me. The website I used worked very well, except I would recommend using it on a computer instead of an iPad because the you can adjust the size of text and pictures on a computer
