My Frankenstuffy Project. During term one we did a large project called Frankenstuffy. I am very proud of the final video that came of it, it received an above standard in fresh grade and impressed lots of people including me. The process I went through to create my frankenstuffy movie was a lengthy one. I started with a draft of the actual stuffy, and after being approved I then went on and sewed the stuffy together. ( ) I then had to make a story on how the animal was created including genetic mutations and incorporate the industrial revolution. I wrote three very lengthy drafts. I was faced with the problem of having too many words and had to shorten it down. In the end the story was a very entertaining and funny story that brought many different animals together into one. I then created the movie.(Frankestuffy movie)I decided that I would have no real life shots, meaning all of my scenes were going to be either animations or stills. After weeks of editing, animating and photoshopping my movie was finished. I got feed back from both of my teachers, they both advised removing parts and replacing them with better images. I brushed the critique aside ay first thinking it was already very good. After days of my project being handed in I asked if I could re-hand my project in with those final edits they had advised, and thank the lords I did becuase it made the movie so much better.

My strengths are movie making, movie editing, and creative writing. I feel that I can create and edit a great movie, I edited tons in my Frankenstuffy video and I edited most of our 12th man Seahawks video. When I start writing and get into the mindset I write like crazy, I get lots of quality work done. I don’t have great spelling and grammar when writing fast but after many revisions I feel that my creative writing is great. My target areas for improvement are essay writing, grammar and spelling. I feel that my grammar and spelling could be easily improved, but essay writing will take much effort and time. Writing formally doesn’t seem to come easily to me. I find it difficult and unpleasant to do, it takes me lots of effort and time to write a essay.

My overall strengths and weaknesses in humanities. I feel that I am strong when it comes to writing, reading and projects. I’m not strong in all aspects of those subjects but for the most part i feel confident. I write well when it’s creative writing but not formal writing. I read well when the subject interests me, when I’m unhappy with the reading I can’t read well. During projects I feel capable in movie making, organizing, working efficiently. Time management and focus are the things I need to improve during projects, I get easily distracted and start working on other things, I also procrastinate and push work backwards. Personally I do not think I perform well in tests and quizzes, I find myself stressed and forgetful, I need to work on my attitude towards them and mentality during them. My specific humanities goal is to procrastinate less and get work done quicker and before other work is assigned.
