The Loraine Motel

As l am writing this blog post I am standing in front of the LoraineMotel

My third reflection is on the Loraine motel and how it is an example of business that serve both white and African American client ell. In my podcast with Christopher we discuss this topic in a brief but educational way.

On a different note, as I stand and gaze upon this exhibit of Dr Martin Luther kings Jr’s final moments I can’t not be sad, but I’m also amazed. It feels like I’ve taken a trip into the past. These cars and colours of the walls scream of the late 60′ and 70’s. And when I see the balcony I can picture him standing there, and also laying there. I enjoy the sadness this exhibit brings and I’m so glad I’m here.
