The place you live in probably has a lot of meaning to you. At school we signed up for a competition called Here’s My Canada were you need to make a 30 second video about what Canada means to you (I live in Canada if you hadn’t guessed yet). Here’s a link to they’re website which has all the videos on it. Here’s my video on their website:
So you’re probably wondering: “How did you make this amazing masterpiece? Why did you choose that story?” And “What do all of the drafts you went through look like (wich are also amazing)?”. Well my dear reader I will be answering those questions in this blog post.
How I made my video
Well first I came up with what I wanted to say, then I recorded myself saying that. After that I found pictures that would go well with the video. Finally I put the audio and pictures together in iMovie.
Why I chose that story
I chose this story about my family coming to Canada because I think it explains that we came to Canada for the mountains. I find it very special to be able to ski very close to home.
What the drafts look like
I haven’t had manny drafts, but I do have one. Here it is:
What I changed was the black picture so it isn’t black, and I changed the title so it says “here’s my Canada” instead of “my Canada”.
So, for all those people who were to lazy to read the entire post and just skipped to the end hopping there would be would be a summery, your in luck. So in a nutshell I made the video using iMovie, I chose the story because I think it explains that we came to Canada for the mountains, and what I changed from my first draft was the black picture so it isn’t black, and I changed the title so it says “here’s my Canada” instead of “my Canada”.
