Hi, if you didn’t know, my name is Sam. This blog post will be quite different to others. If did read the title, you’ll probably know that this post is about Steampunk. In this post I’ll be answering a question. Is it possible for steampunk to exist today?

Before we go deeper, I want to talk about what is steampunk. Steampunk is a steam powered machinery and not exactly advanced. Steampunk would’ve existed if humans didn’t modernize so fast. In fact, at some places, they dress up like they’re from the steampunk era and create steampunk things. Steampunk is a scientific fiction from around the 18-19th centuries. Anyways, I’ll answer the questions now.

I did some research on this question but I’m going to be completely honest with you. Steampunk definitely could’ve existed. When you think about it, why shouldn’t it exist? The down side of steampunk compared to modern technology today is that it may be slow, impacts our environment more, and maybe even impact ecosystems. I would definitely prefer to use modern technology due to the fact that it works better and doesn’t effect the environment as much. To fully answer the question now, I think it could’ve existed. If we didn’t modernize that fast, steampunk would’ve definitely be here. There’s not really a answer to this question because you can’t answer it. It’s more of a opinion. No one would know if it actually would’ve existed.
