Talent Lab

The Talent Lab program offers high school students opportunities to learn from some of Vancouver’s top film industry professionals during these half and full day programs at the Vancity Theatre.  Students attend screenings of short and feature length films, followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker, discussant or Festival Director, and a master class.

Youth Filmmakers Conference

Are you an aspiring filmmaker? Register for our Youth Filmmakers Conference and learn some new tips and tricks during our programs and workshops led by experienced film professionals. This is an opportunity to meet a mentor and run your questions by professionals working in the industry. Meet new friends and collaborate with other youth filmmakers who are as passionate as you are.  Screenings of the Youth Filmmakers Showcase finalists will be held during the Youth Filmmakers Conference.
