Lonsdale Creek Daycare Centre Society has an opening for a summer student.
Job Description:
* Assist with supervision of children during free play (indoors & outdoors), rest time, one-to-one learning activities
* Art/Special Activities set up
* Snack and lunch time routines
* Cleaning and general maintenance of play equipment
* Assist with field trip organization
* Assist regular supervisors as needed
 
Job Requirements:
* Must be 15 years or older
* Must currently be enrolled in school full time and plan to return to school full time in September
* Must be available 5 days a week in July and August 2017, for a total of 8 weeks
* Wage: $11.35/hr plus 4% vacation pay

Capilano U Summer Camps!

Summer Opportunities for First Nations Students!

Native Youth Program 2017!
The Native Youth Program provides students with an opportunity to research their own and other cultures through the museum collection and online resources and participate in workshops and study trips. They will also learn about the resources at the UBC First Nations House of Learning and the Museum of Anthropology and develop public presentation skills using objects and new media. Participants will share this knowledge with others students and museum visitors through guided tours, presentations, and a final report reflecting on their experience and research.
Candidates must be 15 to 18 years old, enrolled in high school and must have an interest in First Nations heritage.
Term: full-time – start date Monday July 3, 2017 to August 18, 2017 – 7 weeks – 35 hours/week – 9:00am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday
Salary: $10.85/hour
