DESCRIPTION: North Van Arts is seeking 1-3 volunteer interns to assist and support strategies for North Van Arts social engagement. The volunteer(s) will also help with reception, answering phone calls and questions from office visitors, after initial training is complete. Free training is provided for the volunteer(s) to learn North Van Arts’ policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES: As part of our Promotions Team, you may:

• Assist the social engagement coordinator in various marketing initiatives such as online content calendar submission, social media scheduling, and digital engagement.
• Advise strategies and marketing plans involving North Van Arts’ Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, and YouTube
• Increase engagement and participation at North Van Arts by sharing print materials, artist calls, opportunities, and posts with the volunteer’s community and/or social media platforms.
• Attend weekly meetings with the social engagement coordinator to prioritize and review scheduled content or content creation.

HOURS: 3hrs/week Saturdays (Minimum 10 Weeks or 30 Hours) with Option to Extend Internship
