My Blue sky went through a lot of stages. I was originally going to make a pulley that brings the garbage up the driveway but my parents weren’t to keen on buying 400ft of chain. So I eventually gave up on that idea and went to the kayak rack. With this idea imbedded in our brains Dad and I went to Rona to get wood and screws. The first rack took the longest mostly because we had to go back and get a different length of wood. But, it was trial and error plus we got it right soon after that. After mastering our design we build two more. We didn’t build enough to get all the kayaks off the dock but we did show by building just one of them the solution to dock clutter.
