“How can we as legal teams, determine the effectiveness of a revolution”

Introduction:

Hello everyone, welcome back to another blog. Today we are talking about our recent humanities project where we took several revolutions and put them on trial for being ineffective, my revolution was the American revolution and I was one of the prosecution lawyers, I was responsible for cross examining the witness on the trail. I was also a judge for the French Revolution, but we are mostly going to focus on me and the American Revolution. Our driving question for this project was “How can we as legal teams, determine the effectiveness of a revolution?” Lets jump into our Milestones.

Milestones:

Milestone 1: Now they didn’t really label the Milestones this year, but I’m just going to show the work I think that would have been a Milestone. Now for MS1 we had our nation X reflection, nation X was a real-life situation of the different classes of people. Nation X took place around the 17 hundreds and me and my group were basically the closest things to peasants. My nation X reflection was a lot more detailed and descriptive, so here is a picture of my reflection on nation X:

Milestone 2: For Milestone 2 we did our Crane Britton creative diagram, now for this milestone we were challenge to show all the stages of a revolution, first there is the incubation stage, then there is the Moderate Stage, then there is the Crisis stage, which is the most violent stage, and finally the recovery stage, where the rain of terror ends, and violence diminishes.

Milestone 3: For MS3 we had our animal farm written response, now for this project we had to read a book about a revolution, and they made us read animal farm (If you don’t know what animal farm is I suggest googling now) for this we needed to write about the stages of a revolution (Presented by crane britons diagram) and how it connects to animal farm, here is a picture of my response:

Milestone 4: For our finally Milestone we needed to build a script for our trail, we needed to come up with a script that included a opening and closing statement, and cross examinations. This was buy far our hardest milestones and I still wish I could re-do it because I know we could have done a better job. Here is a slide showing you parts of our script: And finally here a picture of our actual trail!

Conclusion:

In conclusion to this project, I would say this was BY FAR my favourite project in PLP ever. It had tons of useful information that I will now carry on for the rest of my life, and gave me an idea to what I might want to go into as a profession. Finally here is my overly complicated response to this years driving question: How can we as legal teams, determine the effectiveness of a revolution? Well, to determine the effectiveness of a revolution, you need lots of evidence supporting your case, wether your prosecution or defence, evidence is the key to a trail. Two of the most important things you also need to take note of are the closing and opening statements, these stamens are vital to pleading your case to the jury. Well, this project was filled with great and useful information packed with a fun end to the year, lets go 2022!
