🌲What Does Your Blog Name Symbolize?🌲

Hello and welcome back to my journey through the forest of learning! Here I will be explaining some of the background of my blog’s name, and what it symbolizes and means to me.


Although no one has ever asked me why I have titled my blog this way, I thought it was important to share as there is some meaning behind it.

Ever since I was little, I was lucky enough to be born surrounded by nature. I loved to explore, and still do. I have grown up around trees and have always felt connected to forests and plants around me. With a name like “Teva” you often get asked what it means and I am proud to share it: my name means nature. Some people don’t resonate with their names, but I feel that my name is unique and represents me well. The forest of learning represents my own growth. In this blog, you will see me grow from being in 8th grade, until I graduate in 12th. This blog will hold my journey of the knowledge I have gained and built from the PLP program, and it is very important to me that I keep this blog alive and full of learning.

Like a forest; my life and the knowledge I gain can be very similar. You can get lost in the forest, sometimes the trees are too thick and hard to move around until you find a secret path that is your own. You are surrounded by other creatures and plants growing and moving. You can choose to be overwhelmed by realizing each organism around you has a life of its own, or just focus on the beauty of it all. Some trees have perfect branches for you to climb, while others don’t. Some leaves are perfectly whole, and others have bites taken out of them. In the forest, there are always problems. But, it can always expand, grow and regenerate, just like I can.

In my life, in school, I will face many challenges. They are not easy to face, especially when it feels like you are alone, but it is something each one of us must do. I enjoy learning, I want my growth in the forest of learning to be recorded through this blog.
