As you may have read in the title it truly is the end of the world. This was our new project for humanities. It started out a couple a months back after winter break with the start of a new term. This was our term two main project.

We started of by learning about the fall of Ancient Rome and what had caused it. We did multiple assignments on the models of collapse and how there are three reasons for and empire to collapse. That of course is debated but we learned the three reasons. From there we went on to learn how the collapse of Rome lead to a dark and barbaric time in Western Europe. This lead into the feudalism and how it took shape in Western Europe and England to be specific. This lead in to the power struggle for Western Europe between the vikings, the Anglo saxons and the francs. This was the start of modern Western Europe. Then we got started on our book report on the crusades. We learned about the how people got sent to the bloody battles for the lord. They ended up losing every bit they claimed but they got so much out of the cultural exchange. This was the main part, the cultural exchange. We learned that Europeans got medicine and sciences while the muslims or islams got nothing but a brutal bloody war. Then we got started on some more milestone assignments and stuff like that. These were MindNode and Venn diagrams to boost our thinking on the song and the lyrics in it. These milestones were the most important parts of the project so I will show you what some of them look like.

Now it is time our driving question was how did your worldview get affected from going into high school. With that we had to make a parodie of the r.e.m song its the end of the world as we know it. We all did not want to do this but we had to so we did(no auto tune). So we got started on our lyrics. We did the first half and then went got critique and then did the full song. Then we to taught on how to use garage band. Garage band was a little hard to use but it is rewarding to master it. We got to import the beat and Sing along. Here is my solo song.

Then after we did multiple drafts of the song we got the news that we would be singing a group collaboration song with our table group. In my group was Alex, Rhiann, and Ryan.

for this we had to combine our lyrics and our voices to make the grand song. We started right away and we were also told we had to make a photo montage for the music video. We sent the pictures to each other and we were told that we had 1 and a half class time to do this. We finally got the singing over with, it was torture. And then we tweaked and edited the video and finally we got our last draft in. It was amazingly cringy. Here it is, my video
