If you had read my last post you would have known that my group, the 1800-improv-4-kids won regionals for DI. Now we went on to the provincials for DI and it was fun. After regionals we had one week until spring break and in that little week we did a little work on our play but we didn’t do much. Then freedom!!! We went on spring break and didn’t see each other for two weeks, it was really fun but it came to a stop and we had one week until provincials. We got to work with our burn charts and with acting. And we started working and acting harder until it was the day of provincials. We went to Collingwood and got settled and watched the first improv skits then it was or turn.

We got on stage and there was lots and lots of seycove kids there. We got a huge applause from the parents and PLP kids. Then we went and our first genre was comedy and the characters were Athena and frans Eemil Sillanpaa. This was good because we knew all of them and could play them. We got going and It was great. Then we waited. We saw a bunch of other seycove teams preform and then we did our instant challenge. We aren’t supposed to talk about it until after worlds. So I can’t tell you what happened but I can tell you we were pretty good.

Then we had the scoring. I was so nervous and everyone else was freaking out. We had to go through a bunch of other kids scores then, boom the Improv score. For middle level the aspirational improvers came third the lucky charmanders came second and we came first!!! In the instant challenge and the main challenge. We were so happy to have won and to have DI over. We later got our scores and we had improved by 40 points in both challenges. We exceeded our goal.
