God dag og velkommen! Let’s talk about my most recent Humanities project, Blue Eyed Brutes In Horned Helmets. That’s right, we learned about Vikings (for the first keystone, anyway)! For the first keystone, we had to make a Viking character card. That was pretty fun and interesting. Here’s mine.
For our second keystone, we looked at the age of exploration. The main assignment was making a story about a famous explorer from that time. I chose Christopher Columbus.
For the third keystone, we made images for the story.
For the finish line, we made a little book out of the pictures and images. Here’s mine. Hope you enjoy it!
The most difficult part of this project for me was writing the story. It had to be in the range of 200 words. That might sound like a lot of words, but it’s not. It was very hard to cut down the length to 200ish words, and when I did, it was missing some of what I wanted to include.
The funnest part was the character card. I really like when I make work that I really like, and it was interesting to learn about the Vikings. I also like the detail of the kingdom of Geirstad in what is now Norway. I thought it would be fun to add a kingdom that was there when Erik Adamson was alive.
Alright, that’s all I have to talk about in this project. So long!
