Revolutions on Trial

Hello blog readers! Today I am going to tell you about my latest humanities project about Revolutions! You might have read about my launch project, and we learned a lot about revolutions, and how to make a successful one while learning from the masters. There were 4 different revolutions we could choose, the American Revolution, the French Revolution, the Haitian Revolution, and the one that I chose, the Russian Revolution. I was with the other Russian Revolution members, including Charlie R, Keenan, Tom, Jasper, and Frankie.

We first spent time researching our revolution, and we read a lot of firsthand documents, like the communist manifesto, and a lot of great documents from a website I found called marxists.org (definitely not biased), which gives first hand documents from the time period, written by people like Leon Trotsky and even Vladimir Lenin!

Then we made a graphic organizer, which showed our learning and was a cool way to show our learning.

Then we made a video about why the revolution was effective. We had our best first hand documents that we found, and we presented them effectively and efficiently. Here’s a link to the video!

Thanks for reading my blog post, and I will see you in the next one!
