Hello (teacher), this is my mom.
Thank you for coming to my presentation of learning. I am the expert on my own learning. I am also responsible and accountable for my own learning. You can expect me to give an honest evaluation of my progress. We will discuss my strengths and opportunities for growth. Thank you in advance for listening and for offering feedback that I can use to improve as a learner.
This year, I am the least proud of my Geography project, because I did not enjoy the project, and my book didn’t look as good and did not have as much information as other people.
I struggled with the geography project this year.
The most interesting thing I did this year was the Nation X simulation, because no matter who we are, or what we have learned, or where we grew up, humans always need change and equality, and we will fight for it. The most boring thing I learned was how to make an AR snowglobe.
I FAILED this year in the Brinton Graphic, but then I made some revisions, and got a rainbow!
Not all the work I made met my standards, but that’s ok because I can’t be perfect all the time.
I used a lot of my photography skills in my projects, especially in the Alberta trip because we had to take photos for our book.
My goals changed a bit as I worked on a project. For example, the project shifted during the revolution project, so my goals had to shift too from a making live performance to making a video.
I felt dissatisfied during the handle with care project because I didn’t make a final product, and none of my work I was very proud of.
Here’s something that I would want to change in the PLP program. I do not like Craft, because I can’t find anything anytime. There’s no area like Basecamp where I can see all the parts of the project, I can only click on a link from the road map and see that one article. I wish there was a way to click to all of the articles and see them like last year on Basecamp.
My work reveals that I get distracted very easily, because sometimes I do not enjoy the work or find it interesting.
If I could change something about my work this year, I would grind to get things done and not procrastinate them.
One thing that I saw that I want to use in my next project is more photoshop in my photos, like adding text and different filters to add to the theme and connect to the viewer.
I am going to strive to achieve rainbows for the rest of the year, and revise my work, and not game as much in class, and try to find class more interesting, and ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh-
