Hi people, this week I get to talk about coding. This is something that I really enjoy doing and really enjoy learning about. If you don’t do coding I really recommend you learn at least a bit because I think its very important and fun. I’m going to be talking about my experience using playground to code.
When I first heard about coding it was summer break. I just got through grade 6 and was moving on to grade 7. My dad told me about in and that is important and I should do some everyday. At first I didn’t want to but he told we I had to. I started doing playground coding learn to code 1. I started off not knowing anything about coding to slowly learning how to code. As I continued coding I learned that it was actually very fun and is kind of like solving puzzles. Below is my code that I used to beat
After spending bits of my summer coding, I finally finished learn to code 1. Honestly, even though it was learn to code 1 it was still pretty difficult at the end. I spent a long time trying to figure out the code for the last level. The picture below shows the level I am on now which is part of learn to code 2.
Learn to code 2 is definitely very different from learn to code one. You have to control different characters that can do different things. You also get introduced to variables (A value that can change based on how much of the object you collect). This makes it so you have to write even more code and be more specific with the code you write.
If you dont know how to code, I recommend you to learn it. You should start of with something easy such as an hour of coding. Personally, I dont like scratch which is a coding website. I’d say you could just start of with playground learn to code 1 and try to complete learn to code 2 and 3. I hope you guys enjoyed reading this blog post. 👍
