Hello bloggers a little bit ago I had the opportunity to go on a field trip to Seattle with school and my peers, and it was an eye-opening experience to learn about the crazy ones who have changed the world. As we explored the city, visited museums, and learned about the history of innovation and creativity in Seattle, I couldn’t help but be inspired by the stories of individuals who had the courage to think differently and pursue their dreams, no matter how crazy they may have seemed at the time.
One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the Museum of Flight, where we learned about the Wright brothers and their determination to make flight a reality. It was incredible to see how their passion and innovation ultimately led to the development of modern aviation and changed the way we travel today. It was a reminder that sometimes, it takes a crazy person to dream big and make the impossible possible.
Another highlight of our trip was visiting the Chihuly Garden and Glass museum, where we were mesmerized by the stunning and unique glass art created by Dale Chihuly. His ability to blend different styles and techniques to create one-of-a-kind pieces was truly inspiring, and it was a testament to the power of thinking outside the box and pushing boundaries in the world of art.
Our trip to Seattle was a reminder that it takes a little bit of craziness to change the world. Whether it’s in the tech industry, aviation, art, or any other field, those who are willing to take risks, think differently, and pursue their passions with unwavering dedication are the ones who make a lasting impact. So here’s to the crazy ones who dare to dream big and change the world – may we all be inspired to follow in their footsteps and make our mark on the world in our own unique and crazy way.
But, one thing I want to improve on is to actively engage more with the exhibits and information presented during the field trip. While I enjoyed the experience, I realized that I could have asked more questions and delved deeper into the stories and accomplishments of the innovators we learned about.
During and after the field study, I contributed by actively participating in group discussions and sharing my insights with my peers. I also took the initiative to document our experiences through videos and photos, capturing the creation process and the final products we saw at the museums.
From this project, I learned the importance of thinking outside the box and being willing to take risks in order to make a meaningful impact. The stories of the innovators we learned about reminded me that it’s okay to be a little crazy and pursue our dreams with passion and determination.
I would like to give a shout-out to my amazing peers who made the field trip experience even more enjoyable. Thank you to my group members in the final presentation as well for your enthusiasm, grit, and willingness to learn and explore together.
Since I wasn’t able to make the Pécha Kucha night to repèrent my learning I made a video with all the knowledge from my topic Seattle’s music scene: https://youtu.be/LwmxZxoTQ-A?si=UL_Q5bPwSUNdyDi7
