First of all. Don’t get me started on why calling it an Advance was a bad idea. Not retreating is a VERY situational tactic, E. G. If you have superior numbers and better weaponry, or a better position with more weaponry. Then it MIGHT work. Anyways, this post is about Loon Lake, not me getting mad about an analogy, right? Right? Fine, I guess it is……
So this is my book
Day 1.
Day 1 wasn’t much to talk about, we got our Cabins assigned, and we did some exploration, I also got a cool timelapse of the bus in the forest. In my cabin on night 1 was Caden O., Daniel, Luca, and Magnus (aka Magnet) who was in the other room for most of night 1 until he got caught by the fun police, Ms. Willemse. Also on night One was our first dinner and evening fun. For dinner we had Lasagne. It was OK, and then was Evening fun, where I played Flash Point: Fire Rescue with Julian, Ben, Chris and Myself. In this game, we managed to get to the threshold of a technical win, however, the game ended before we could finish it.
Day 2.
Day 2 was fun, in the morning I ate breakfast with Jupiter and Kadin, before going to morning advisory groups. Then we did wil and immersive, Aka shelter building, Me, Andrew, and Charlie Mortimer’s shelter was made using 100% reclaimed natural wood and rock, with extra features including the unsafe log of death above it, and +100 to sneak, which means, if you need to hide from Loon Lake Bob.p ( the serial killer who killed 3 of us.), have us make you a shelter, all fault of structural failure is the customers, no money back. Going for 1 million dollars, a steal for what you get. Then came lunch, I ate lunch with Brooke, Ben, Julian, Kadin, Jupiter and Myself. And what happened will shock you. In some twisted game, people were trying to put salt into peoples water, so, when Brooke got Salted, she embraced it and put some pepper in the water as well, before Julian took the Pepper Shaker and poured approximately half of it on to his burger, because apparently he can’t taste anything else. Then some Burger was put in the salt and pepper water, as well as some French fry, and Onion. The Ben drank the concoction and SURVIVED, without throwing up. After that was D. I. Which I can’t tell you about, which led to dinner, it was Fajitas, which was delicious, and then came evening fun, I watched the Olyimpics in the Pan Abode.
Day 3.
Day 3 was a blur to me, and it, day 2, and the last day all get mixed up, most of what I remember is battle archery, where I used my inner Legolas, and eventually, in the final battle, I fell in the mud after taking a hit to the leg, however, a teammate catching the lucky green arrow leading to us coming back, then I hit someone in the head. We also did laser tag, and I managed to get several kills with flamethrower, Claymore, and Assault Rifle. For dinner, we had roast beef and Yorkshire puddings, it was not very good
Day 4.
This was the final day, and it was suitably epic, starting with waffles and strawberries, followed by a round of capture the flag, in round 1, about halfway, I was captured, however, I managed to beat the guards in single combat ( duels of honour with sticks) and escape, however, in round 2, Julian was a guard, making the challenge MUCH harder, and despite duelling for the ENTIRE GAME, as my early attack was thwarted, but eventually, my valiant efforts were thwarted. Then was lunch, which I don’t really remember, and finally the bus ride home, where the people beside me on the bus were watching Star Wars, and it was awesome.
I didn’t really take photos because I wanted this to be a memory, not a photo that I would see.
